In-between spring snow storms it got warm enough to go out for some long walks with the pugs. However those walks ended up involving a lot of Puddle Jumping. Luckily these pugs are pros. And Praline's fascination of sewage drains continues.
Every time we go to refill the pug’s food, Pounchkie has to come with and check out the container it’s stored in. This time we thought we'd see what would happen if we put her in the food container. She gladly sat there as if saying, ok fill me up!
Mom brought home a very strange food. She says she's going to use it in a fish dish, but we think it would be better in a tall glass with some ice, coconut milk & rum. Pounchkie of course had to take a nibble.
Opening gifts is something both pugs are very skilled at. What continues to crack us up is the amount of mail these two little pugs get. We do wonder what the mailperson must think. Check out Pounchkie's new bday bling, toys & bones!
Thanks to @HamiltonPug & Wednesday night #PugChat and it's sponsor @FURminator_Inc Praline was a big winner. This box arrived in the mail for her and she could not wait to open it. What could it be?De-shedding shampoo and two furminators! How did they know the perfect prize for this pug who is blessed with a double coat! Or course at one point, the packaging was more interesting. Be sure to join the fun at #PugChat each week!
It’s hard to believe little Pounchkie is 6 years old today! By the looks of the outtakes from her official bday photo, where she wanted to chew on the hat strings or what's up with the butt, you'd think she was still 6 months old. So different than her big sis, who will sit for hours perfectly still in front of the camera. But we love this little ball of trouble, all of her, for she keeps us on our toes and laughing at all of her antics.
Pounchkie has become obsessed with a trash can in a little park in our neighborhood. Given the horrible winter we’ve had, we have not gotten in as many walks as we normally would, so visits to the park have been few and far between. But any little bit of a sunny, warmer day (ok above 20 degrees if we are lucky) she pulls us in the direction of the park. It becomes a quest to see how fast we can get there so she can sniff and make sure her little trash can is still there. And sometimes she leaves it a little parting gift before it’s a race back home, inside where it’s warm.
