With the temperatures so extreme that our pugs have had little outside time this winter, it’s not the ground hog that we need to worry about seeing his shadow, but little Pounchkie. Even inside the house she has resorted to extreme hibernation.
With the recent extreme cold temps in Chi-town of late, blankets that were stored away have made recent appearences. Here's how our two pugs react when a favorite comes out. Its an all out blanket war!
Praline's obsession with hair scrunches has gotten to the point that she will cry for them - we only allow them upstairs. And when she does go upstairs for the night she seeks them out – sitting and staring in front of the dresser where they are kept.
Her obsession with them started as a puppy. I have never seen such happiness in a dog when we give her one. She will sit on he back and pull it like a otter, or toss it up in the air to catch it, or just lay and pull it btwn her teeth and paws for hours. She'll carry it around and has even fallen asleep with it in her mouth. Its the one thing she will not back down and let her little sis get hold of.
