turns Pounchkie into a crazed pug for hours. We actually have to take it away from her, and then she hunts for it.

Our pug "Hector" gets that way with tennis balls. It's crazy how focused he gets on it. If he knocks it under a table/couch/bookshelf, and we go away for the weekend, he goes right for whichever piece of furniture he last lost it. How can he remember that!
