I was so excited to watch Ellen this week and guess what she's not on! Instead I got stuck watching a ball bounce back and forth over a net. This Serena lady is pretty good, but she's nothing compared to Ellen dancing.
No sleeping in for this pug. I'm up and it's time to make the bed. In fact, this vacation isn't turning out to be much of one, for I also had to help take the garbage out. Good thing I'm such a great helper.
My mom is on vacation this week, so we started out by having breakfast together. Get it "Breakfast at Praline's". Not only am I cute, but smart and funny. As far as breakfast went, I pretty much watched as she ate. Don't I look perfectly posed with my paws tucked under me? This is my take on being a lady like Hepburn.
So I may not be show quality and my agility skills not all that sharp, but when it comes to costume contests I'm a winner. In fact, this weekend I won Runner Up, at the First Inaugural Pug Fest of Wisconsin in my Desperate House Pug outfit. Put on by the Northern Illinois Pug Rescue & Adoption, it was a fun filled day. Along with the costume contest, there was a talent contest, parade and scavenger hunt. Also, vendors, food and live music and of course lots of pugs! I want to thank the people at NIPRA for my lovely prizes. I went home that same day and wore my new collar and played with the toy hotdog all evening.
The winner of the contest was My Fair Lady, pictured here, who was dressed like a true lady.
Yes, it's me Praline wearing Minnie Mouse ears. Please no comments...I'm being really good wearing them. My uncle and aunt brought them back for me from Disney World on their honeymoon. I think I look pretty good with mouse ears.
